District 5100 encompasses the northern third of the state of Oregon and the very southwestern part of the state of Washington. The 4,000 Rotarians in our district are proud of our many service projects both in our communities and around the world. We welcome you to not only visit one of our 75 clubs or 4 Rotaract clubs, but also to have the opportunity to introduce you to the many educational, cultural and recreational opportunities available here.

Assembly 2012

The District 5100 Training Assembly (DTA) took place on Saturday, April 21 at Clackamas High School. A record crowd of 502 Rotarians were in attendance, and a total of 48 classes were offered, including 19 that were brand new. In the photo left several students soak up information in a new class entitled "Leadership for Rotaractors and Rotarians." This class was one of two designed especially for Rotaractors, and over 30 Rotaractors attended DTA this year.

One of the highlights of the day was a Resource Fair which featured 20 displays sponsored by clubs and committees. A scavenger hunt took Rotarians to all the booths, culminating in entries into a drawing for a Paul Harris Fellow and several other great prizes. Bob Pool of RC Salem Sunrise was the winner of the Paul Harris. Below Rotarians eagerly await the drawing of the winning ticket. This comment received from one Rotarian summarized many of the feelings expressed, "Thank you for one of the best days I've ever had in Rotary, even though I’ve been a Rotarian a little more than a year! I am marking the date for next year’s DTA on my calendar as soon as I finish this survey." And just for the record, that date is April 20, 2013, at Lake Oswego High School.
