The 4,000 Rotarians in our district are proud of our many service projects both in our communities and around the world. We welcome you to not only visit one of our 75 clubs or 5 Rotaract clubs, but also to have the opportunity to introduce you to the many educational, cultural and recreational opportunities available here.

4 Way Test Contest – Sneak Preview!
As announced previously in this space, we’ve added a creative element to the 4-Way Test Contest. Any seventh or eighth grader from any school in our District can create a skit, song, poem or other creative media demonstrating the 4-Way Test and upload the production to YouTube or Vimeo for judging. The creative media element creates an opportunity for 7th and 8th graders to participate even if the club is not sponsoring the 4 way speech and essay program in the schools
Click here for instructions and registration forms for the creative test. Applications must be submitted no later than April 1. If you know a talented seventh or eighth grader who should enter this contest, talk to them NOW so they can get their entry submitted before the deadline. Judging of the creative submissions will not occur until after April 1. Winning videos will be shown at the District conference at the same time the winner of the speech contest gives his/her speech and the winning essay is read.
And now, let’s take a peek at the first creative media videos that have come in:

By the way, if your club has students participating in the traditional speech or essay contest, please be sure you submit the appropriate registration form by April 1. Click here for the speech registration form or here for the essay registration form.
